Change Date When Splitting

I would really like it if you could change the transaction dates when splitting transactions. For example when I get cash from an ATM, I don't always spend it in that day, but if I go back to split the transaction everything shows up on the day I withdrew the cash, not on the day I spent it. This is especially a problem when using the budget tool, as cash that stays in my pocket between months screws up my attempts to accurately track where and when my money is spent. This doesn't seem like that big of a change to make, and would certainly make the transactions and budgeting features much more useful.

I split the rent with my girlfriend and we alternate months instead of each writing a check for half each month. This totally confuses mint, but if I could split the transactions across months it would make the "trends" section more helpful.

The date that I would like to see on a split transaction is the budget date. When I get cash out of an ATM and spend the money it does nt always fall within the same budget period. I would love to be able to apply it to the proper budget period. This goes for regular transaction as well. If I write a check at the end of the month of April and it does not clear until May I would still like it to hit the April budget so I do not go negative in May.
