I love Mint. I love what it's done to get me involved in budgeting. I was such a terrible flake before. Now I geek out on my budget. It's wonderful. Thank you. I do have a few suggestions...

A miscellaneous subcategory for every category -- since it sounds like custom categories are difficult.

Re-occurring budgets. For example, I pay my auto insurance 2x/year. I'd like it to come up automatically when I budget, but only in the months that it's due.

Weekly budgets. The weekly budget could just be automatically recommended, but it might be kind of neat to bring up a page that says "You should spend no more than this amount on groceries this week in order to stay on budget."

Annual budgets. If you could set up annual budgets, then in the main monthly budget view, you could include a recommendation for the monthly budget in order to stick best to the annual budget plan.

A total spent field in the budgeting section. If I'm under or over budget, I'd like to know by how much total.

When setting up a budget, I'd like to see not only how much I spend, but also how much I budgeted each month over the last six months and see how much I was off by. It could go right next to the bar for US spending. Frankly, I could do without the US spending bar for that, but I understand that it's not good to take things like that away. Maybe if you could toggle between what you'd like to see there.

An allowance category under Kids and Education.

The ability to compare my spending habits to people of similar income levels or possibly by occupation instead of simply by location. I suspect this one's already in the works.
