Adjust dates of transactions

We can change just about everything about a transaction except the date. This can make budgeting difficult in its current form - for instance, sometimes my apartment will cash my rent check on the last day of the month, or on the first day of the next month. So some months have two rent payments, others none. Is there some way that we can adjust transaction dates? Or else, improve the budgeting function to be a rolling average!

I'll second that. Sometimes I'll have a bill pay payment go out on the 31st of the month to make my next month's mortgage payment. I want that payment to count against next month's budget and trend view, not current month's.

I would like to see two posting dates. The first date cannot be changed and reflect the true date that the transaction cleared. The second date can be adjusted by the user to reflect the proper budget period and maybe reflects the date the transaction was released but not cleared.
