Pending Transactions

Hello,

How long do transactions typically stay in "pending" status? I have a Wachovia debit card and some of my transactions from June 9th are still pending. What's strange is that transactions after the 9th have already posted and been categorized. Is this a common occurance? I do know that the pending transactions in question have already posted in my Wachovia account.

I am having the same problem. It takes a few days even though the transaction is already settled. It makes it difficult to fix the categories and put splits in.

I have a similar problem with pending transactions.

I started new to mint.com towards the end of August, so I set up a rough budget planning for September. I had 7 transactions on August 29 or later (BofA) which were shown as pending until September 2. That is 5 days, which seems long, but I don't really mind except for the fact that now these transactions all show in my September budget, which is really messing it up (some of those transactions were once-every-six-month expenses like textbooks).

I see that this is going to be an issue every month. I don't really mind waiting a day or two for charges to post, but what I would really like to review and be reflected in my budget is the actual day I charged the card.

Any update on getting the Wachovia transactions cleared? They should be cleared on the next synch with the bank if the bank has already cleared them. This causes problems with splitting transactions and entering categories as well as the saving vs spending chart...

Can we have a manual override please?

I'm having the same problem. It would be nice to have an override or a way to re-sync the transaction.

I am having the same problem. Some transactions that were pending yesterday cleared before my currently troubled transaction. This troubled transaction has been stuck in pending for 4 days, yet in my Wachovia account it has cleared 3 days ago.

I have been having the same problems. I have 2 transactions that are still pending and several other transactions have cleared afterward.

I am having the same problem with my US Bank account. I tried going to the accounts tab and doing a "manual" update, but it didn't change anything. They are not pending at the bank anymore, but they've been pending in Mint for 7 days.

I have a ton of pending transations in my Wachovia account. This been a problem for way too long. I have made several posts in the newsgroups and submitted bug tickets as well. They are aware of it and apparently don't have the resources to fix it. Wachovia is a pretty large bank for them to let this be such a large issue.

It makes it very difficult to enter splits and fix the categories when it takes a week for mint to reconcile a transaction that clears the banks website in one day.

Any updates? I wrote support again and they said it takes 5 days to clear pending transactions. Funny how they show up fine in Yodlee.....

Wachovia should be a large enough Bank that efforts should be made to work this kink out. I'm not complaining, as I am truly grateful for your service; however, as tracking financial expenses is Mint's "Deal", then WTF?

I've got a pending transaction from November 1st. It's the 7th, and I thought Mint was only supposed to take 4 days to update. I e-mailed mint and can't get a response. Perhaps the answer is posted elsewhere; these forums are terrible.
Regardless, still loving mint and appreciate all the hard work.

I have a two pending transactions from Wells Fargo from 6 days ago. When I update the account from the "accounts" page, it turns up fine on the transaction page, but the next time I sign in, it's pending again....

I now have over a week of pending transactions from my Wachovia account.

It seems that every transaction after my first signup with mint.com is remaining "pending".

Has anyone found out why this is happeneing?
