The budgeting tool should allow you to budget your uncategorized and/or cash expenses.

The latter would be most useful, since I have certain amounts set up in my budget, but withdraw a fixed amount of cash every month for discretionary spending. With it in the budget, it would be automatically figured in to my estimates of monthly spending.

The alternative of simply splitting and categorizing my cash transactions is both inconvenient, and doesn't fit into how I budget. If I categorized discretionary spending, it would also flag categories as over budget, which is counter to the point of having a few extra bucks that I can spend "as needed".

Hear hear! I wholeheartedly second this request.

I agree as well. Another post on this topis suggested recategorizing, for example, ATM withdrawals as ATM fees. I use that method to track how much money I take out of the bank. Works for me.

I'd like to add my desire for this feature. When it gets down to the small things in my budget, I don't want to have budget items of 5-10 dollars laying around. It would be nice to just budget $50 for "everthing else."
This is especially true since there is no ability to have non-monthly budgets, as it will make my budget more accurate on any given month.
