Set up multple profiles under one account

I would like the ability to separate my wife's financial information from my own - but to also view them combined. two profiles under one account would be great!

I agree - Will there (or is there) a way of separating information within a specific bank account? Our "main" checking account has two debit cards attached to it (mine and my husband's).

The problem is that (for example) with fuel/gas expenses, it looks like we're over budget only halfway in the month. I know I shouldn't be over budget - I drive a hybrid! (Hubby drives a small SUV. ;))

On the other hand, maybe I'm nuts in this day & age of gas prices! :confused: Appreciate the help.

This is the letter I sent.

My idea is multiple profiles. I own my own small business and all of my accounts are on Mint, but I need to keep my business and my personal accounts separate. It would be extremely helpful if I could set up multiple profiles under the same mint account and attach different bank accounts to each. For example, I would set up two profiles, one personal and one business, and attach the relevant accounts to each. This way I could use mint for both business and personal without mixing up the two.

The implementation of this idea would be very simple because a feature to hide certain accounts already exists. This feature could be used to only display personal accounts on my personal profile while hiding my business accounts. Then for my business profile simply hide all of my personal accounts. Multiple profiles could also allow my other settings to be different for each profile. So my email and alert settings for the bank accounts tied to my personal profile would differ from the accounts tied to my business profile.

If we could get a lot of people to join this thread maybe Mint will take notice and make this feature asap.
