Customers that use their investment accounts as cash accounts will not be able to see all activity on Mint. Today we do not identify 'spending' transactions and include them in any non-investment features like the transactions tab, spending trends, budgets, etc.

We will be addressing this issue in the future. My apologies for any inconvenience.

Bummer. Looking forward to it when it's available.

As I mentioned in the other thread, I (like quite a few others I noted on here) use the cash/"core"/checkwriting portion of my Fidelity account to pay my bills. Would be awesome to see it work with Mint.

I've got my "mySmartCash" account on here, and while it's a little flaky (frequent duplicate transactions), it works on Mint like any other checking account.

I use a regular Fidelity brokerage account as my checking account. I don't like the core account restrictions mySmart Cash account imposes.

I don't know what it's called - a long time ago they called it the "Ultra" account but now it's just "the Fidelity account" - it has a debit card and checkwriting attached to the "core" cash portion of the account. You can also access margin borrowing that way, if you want. They wanted me to switch to MySmartCash but it did not look appealing to me (as dman mentioned).
