Not getting mobile alerts on my phone

Hello,

I am new to mint and I recently just signed up and I activated my phone to recieve the alerts via text message. However, I have gone over my budget in a few categories and I did not recieve a text message on my phone. I have Verizon Wireless. I'm also not recieving any through email either. Just thought I throw that in there as well. Any suggestions? Thank you.
