I'd like to know if I can add a loan account. It is not an institution that will ever be added to Mint, this is a loan account that was made by a family member to me.
Thank you.

Damon,
I hope you understand that it doesn't satisfy your user base to keep saying that a major feature will be "coming in the next few months"...you've been saying that for almost 2 months now:

Either it's coming or it's not. If it's not, tell us. If it is, please give us some details about what loans will look like? It's frustrating to hear the same old song over and over...

I balk from giving specific dates because something may change. A target date is late June/early July.

It would seem to me that there would much a huge difference in demand for loans over investments yet the investments are the thing that got added recently. I am confused by that.
There has to be MANY MANY more people with loans then people that invest, especially with this current economic climate.
Any reasoning why the loans didn't get added first?
At this point I am eager for my car loan to be able to be included but also will be buying my first house in Nov. and will be eager for the mortgage at that time to be added.

The spiraling increase in the demand for biofuel with decrease in the sources of fossil fuel has now initiated large and small scale farmers to go with a new wonder crop called Jatropha Curcas. Jatropha curcas L. has proved to be a promising oil-bearing tree, which grows well even in the arid and semi-arid regions, particularly on the degraded lands and lands affected by moving sands, .
The seeds of this Euphorbiaceae tree contain more than 30 % oil, which can be used for making bio-diesel. The seed cake produced after oil expulsion is rich in nitrogen (> 5 %), phosphorus (>2.5% P2O5) and potassium (1% K2O) and can be converted into valuable organic manure for improving physical and chemical properties of the soil. The plant propagates freely from seeds as well as from cuttings and can start producing fruits in two to three years after establishment. It is well adapted to the harsh environments of desert margins, and can withstand drought once it is established through supplemental irrigation in the dry areas.
For more info on this crop go through http://www.jatrophaplantsource.com

First of all, I just want to say that mint is awesome (and free). I've used online programs that require payment that have had more bugs than this site. True, it may have a few bugs (and broken dishes :)), but please remember that it is still in beta. And thanks to Damon for his honest and prompt replies to user questions/concerns. He is doing a fantastic job, and if everyone would exercise just a bit more patience, I'm sure the bugs will be worked out and additional features added over time. For my uses, I would rather have investments than loans; you can't please everyone at once, right?
Thanks again to everyone for their suggestions and for mint's hard work on an already outstanding product.

I totally agree with you. I'll admit, I was frustrated to no end with mint at first because I (<- yeah, me) didn't understand the account concept and the questions asked. I stopped using the service. Then got a relevant response from a Mint rep and viola! I'm back.
It is VERY important to take into account that this is a really AWESOME service and it is totally free! You seriously can't please everyone...and as a developer, I know all too well that once you bring something onto the table, all everybody wants is more of it or something else. While I know it is hard to depict feelings and body language or language in general through text, utilizing capitals and excessive punctuation is a tell tale sign of annoyance.
Think about what you have that you haven't paid a dime for before you get all hot and bothered because you didn't get everything you wanted.
Oh yeah, and remember...there are only SO many developers working on Mint.com, and think of the umpteen MILLION requests they get daily for features and bugs. No, your 2 requests + 5 million requests does not equal your 2 requests.
Peace out,
Ricky P

I'm trying to use my loan accounts; one account (SAFE Credit Union) authenticates my information, but can't seem to download my transactions and times out.
The other is Wachovia Student Loans, for which the URL isn't available. The one I use is https://premierloanservicing.wachovia.com/WCS/Jsp/general/home.jsp
If you could add this one to the loans section, that would be fantastic.
I'm really happy with the way the site is looking; it's all coming together. Thanks mint.

I know there are multiple Wachovia loans, and some require logging in through ACS. However, my Wachovia loan, like Kbennall's is still located on the Wachoiva site, at:
https://premierloanservicing.wachovia.com/WCS/Jsp/general/home.jsp
The loan link on Mint for Wachovia takes the user to:
http://www.wachovia.com/misc/0,,1156,00.html, which does not even have a log in area, and actually requires that the user go to another page to get to the actual sign in screen, which is mentioned above.
Please check this out- Thanks!
