So I have a very weird bug. I edited a few Rules on the Transactions tab and then went to the overview. ALL my budget categories are rounded up to the nearest 10. For example I spent $1000 on mortgage but it says $1010 and I spent $132 on insurance and it rounds it up to $140. I know this is a very odd bug but it is is making my budget completely off. PLEASE HELP. I have added a screenshot of my budget for you to see.

I just looked and my Trends numbers are unaffected. They are still correct.

Mine is weird. The total is 310 for one category but on the budget it shows up as 320? Weird. Better up than down I guess.

I also get the round up to $10, for instance one category had a charge of $10.64 and it is telling me that it is $20. It's also telling me that the mortgage was over because it rounded the amount paid up to the next 10, but the budget amount was exactly the mortgage amount, so it tends to give erroneous alerts unless the budget is rounded up too.

Me too--a category totaling $37 posts as $40, one totaling $105 posts as $110.

My budget categories are rounding up to the next 10 as well. (e.g. $82 spent shows as $90)

It would be more appropriate to round to the nearest dollar. (e.g. $82.75 should show as $83)

Doing the same thing for me. It didn't used to do this either, I checked Mint a day or two ago and it was normal.

It has been doing the same thing for me too for a little over a week. I thought it just needed a few days to update itself, but now after reading this post I see that it is rounding to the nearest 10.

Me as well. I have my cellular budget set at $85 dollars in which I spent $83.11 and it is telling me I over exceeded my budget by $5 (It rounded to $90 my $83.11 I spent!).

I have a $30 transaction that shows up as $40 on my budget. Not quite accurate.

Yea Same Here.i Just Started Using This Program A Few Days Ago. I Was Looking Through My Spending Today And I Noticed That All The Numbers Were Rounded Up To 10. How Can Someone Use The Budget Program If All The Numbers Dont Add Up Together?

Just wanted to add that the same thing is also happening to me. Is anyone from Mint going to respond to this? It's awfully annoying to see all these orange bars when I haven't actually gone over budget!

Budget for $875 -- transaction showing $880.00 in the budget.

Bollocks.

It's compounded when you look at the Totals at the bottom. All those rounding up to the next (not nearest) 10's gets cumulated, so if you have 15 categories listed, the totals could be off by as much as $150

I'm having the same problem as well, I have a category that i only used $600 but the budget shows $610?

This rounding is a big issue, I don't minding rounding to the nearest $1, but to the NEXT $10 just throws the entire budget off.

Any word from Damon on this?

I, too, have seen rounding up to the nearest $10 in my budget overview.

In one case, a budget of $100 is set and I spent $100. It puts me over budget by $10, as it is rounding up to $110.

I'm having this problem too. As far as I can tell, it started May 1st, or shortly after. I didn't have this issue last month.

Draco -
I started a thread about this issue last night (before I found this thread). Damon replied that it's a known bug and they're working on it.

It's not much, but I did want to let you know that he replied and is aware of the problem.

I spent $80 on Auto Insurance, the budget says I spent $90. I spent $32 on Gifts, the budget says I spent $40. I spent $9.50 in Entertainment, the budget says I spent $20... these things add up.

Edit: One more thing, I spent $63 on Furnishings and the budget shows it as $0.00! That's well off the mark and it's been in the transactions since May 10th.
