Everything adds up as if they were all positive numbers.

I have this same issue for reimbursed ATM fees. There's another thread (http://forums.mint.com/showthread.php?t=2410) about this, but no luck in getting a fix yet.

Seems as though the trends is still not accounting for for returned purchases.

Trend graph reports $11 for "Gifts and Donations".
In merchant table there is only 1 Merchant listed with $11 in transactions.

Double clicking that merchant displays two transactions, both with "Gifts and Dontaions" category. One for a purchase of $10.69 and another for a return of 10.69. These should cancel each other out.
