I would love this too, but I don't think Mint is there yet. I think it would be very useful to have student loans, car loans, mortgages, etc to show a better estimate of your actual net worth (assets minus liabilities) but I don't get the impression that Mint has that capability yet.

Could you give us some kind of information about what is planned? Loan account support has been "coming in the next few months" for as long as I've been on the site (admittedly not too long, but several months...)

Next release...whenever that shakes out. I don't want to provide a date because something could change. It is on the table...

Can you give us any information about what features might be added? I think we all can understand that you're working on it and that nothing you tell us is a promise, that things slip in time and features get dropped...but I'm curious.

I know it's been about a year since we first started talking about student loans. What's on the table? Why the delay? If you don't mind me asking.

Both my girlfriend and I use Mint for budgeting. We both have a large amount of student loans that we'd like to include. This would be extremely helpful. Please do your best to put the proper pressures to ensure this happens in a reasonable amount of time. Thank you!

You've probably seen it elsewhere but you can now add federal student loans through the direct loan servicer by searching for "FSA Direct Loan" in accounts.

'Twould be most helpful if this loan was called either "Direct Loans" or "U.S. Department of Education" instead of "FSA Direct Loan." Either that, or if a search for "education" or "direct loans" would pull up this particular loan. I've been paying off my student loans for several years and have never seen or heard of federal student loans referred to as "FSA Direct Loan."
