For some reason my chase retirement accounts (not investment) say a little over 20 million dollars in each. Their are no transactions, and I assure you I don't actually have anywhere near that amount of money.

I can not use Mint any longer. The informations it shown are incorrect, and it e mailed me the incorrect information all the time. It freaked me out that I had $5000 in house payment this month.(Mint e mailed me) it categorized most of my credit card payments as rent for some reason.Mint keep e mailed me about this and that is over my budgets.
Other thing is all my accounts don't show up, so the informations are incorrect.
Categories are the problems for mint, You can not manually set it as I see fit for my situations.
So I am out of here. If you all can make it works that is good for you. May be in a few years, things will be better with mint.
Bye, you all. Last one out close the door.

It is pretty clear here that someone has made a mistake. I assure you I don't actually have anywhere near that amount of money.Chase does not make mistakes like that so it must be you. You have made a mistake. If you have lost trust with Chase the prudent thing to do would be to wire all of your funds somewhere else.

If by chance it is one of the Banking systems unapplied for, secret, random, no repayment schedule, no interest loans. Then just say thank you.

I thought this was for reporting bugs. I have a bug that I am reporting. No offense, but I don't care if you don't like mint. And I don't care if you don't like case.

Ditto! Hello, it's a *beta* version, folks, there are bound to be a few bugs. It's not like Mint actually changes anything in your bank accounts; your bank knows the right numbers. Yes, it's annoying that it's not perfect and that we can't trust its reporting 100%. Guess what? It's free, so you're not out anything. More than that, if you put up with some of the annoying parts, you can help guide and shape Mint going forward. Yes, it's not perfect, but they are listeningto us, even if they can't get instant results on making things the way we want them. Consider it a temporary hobby...you get to be involved with the development stage of a great new product! Who knows, maybe they're offer us first dibs on the (eventual) big stock offering!

And, oops, by the way, this thread was for reporting bugs (shame on me too). But Mint, keep up the good work!

Guess what?Guess what? It's free .. keep up the good work! Don’t quit your day job. This isn’t “Star Trek”. Why is everyone so eager to abandon tested principles of economics? Nothing is free. (http://www.kk.org/thetechnium/archives/2008/01/better_than_fre.php) Absolutely nothing. ..A company’s wealth is determined by what it sells, not by what it gives away.

the1gofer,

My guess is, it's just a parsing error while reading the information passed from your bank to 'mint.com'.

'mint.com' is constantly being required to go back and change their parsing routines because banking/credit institutions are changing/improving their security measures. If you've had access to your accounts previously, without issue, it will usually just require you to inform the 'mint.com' technicians (which you just did), and they will begin working on the issue.

I wouldn't follow certain 'the-sky-is-falling' advice being offered about trying to take this imaginary money out of your account just yet. Give the 'mint.com' people some time to work the issue. Cheers :-)

I've had one report of this happening so far. It *looks* like the date is being read, or something along those lines, when our provider is pulling the information down.

Note: I am more than happy to file bugs for these. I just need to advise that we're under a heavy contact load again (sigh). It might take a little bit to resolve via our provider...

That's happening to me. My Chase account shows a $20 million CD.

If I delete and add the account, it goes back to normal. After a few days, the CD reappears.
