With google, you can use a MINUS operator to remove those things from a query.

I want to be able to search for all items tagged as "Shopping", but NOT tagged as "Luxuries", for instance:

"tag:Shopping -tag:Luxuries"

but i don't think this works. am i wrong? any plans to implement this?

Im pretty sure that is correct, I tried it with another term, and it seemed to work

Are you sure? I just tried, and it doesn't work for me.

Can you paste your actual search box contests here to be sure?

I don't think minus worked I just tried to filter out transfers
-category:Transfer

and all I got back were transfers so I don't think it works at all

mint.com: this seems like a small change, any chance of implementing it?

Since this is kinda related, I thought I'd just ask here... does the + operator work for searches? I'd try it out myself but I just saw a notice about the site going down for maintenance. (can we expect any big changes? :D)

Does anyone from Mint read these? Damon, anything? Would be nice for some reliable communication.
