I've tried things like Quicken, etc. before but I wasn't disciplined enough to
use them. It required much more manual work than Mint.com and seemed
cumbersome. With Mint I was up and running in 10 minutes and it helped me in a
couple ways. First, a charge on my credit card that shouldn't have been there
stood out - and I proceeded to dispute it with my provider. It was 45 days old
and I had missed it on my bill. Second, I eat out way too much - with Mint I
can see just how much that is affecting my budget.

Thanks again for such a great service! I hope it continues to remain free and
operational for a long time to come.

It all starts with a little bit of financial awareness. Glad to hear that Mint.com is helping people get there!

I credit Mint with me being able to quickly and easily spot bogus credit card charges. A few weeks ago I found a mysterious charge from "cic triple advantage" (the people behind freecreditreport.com: beware of this site! Search "cic triple advantage" on google) that I was able to quickly reverse. At the same time I spotted other mysterious charges which led to us having to close our credit card account due to someone using the number. Since it's easy to check everyday with Mint, we nipped these issues in the bud before they got out of hand.

Thanks Mint!
