If you're trying to add a Charles Schwab account, please make sure that you're choosing the correct option on the site for the account type you're trying to add. You would also want to add individual account types individually.

Options for Schwab:
Schwab Bank (schwabbank.com (http://schwabbank.com/))
Charles Schwab - Banking
Schwab Institutional - Advisor (investment)
SchwabPlan (investment)
Charles Schwab (investment)
Charles Schwab - OptionCenter (investment)
Charles Schwab - Signature Alliance (investment)
Charles Schwab - Signature and Select Annuity (investment)
Charles Schwab Bank Credit Card

Special Note: Please try adding a Charles Schwab CHECKING product under the Charles Schwab investment option (for Schwab Checking accounts).

If you encounter a problem, please contact us at https://wwws.mint.com/contact.event with the following:

a) account email address
b) account type you're trying to add
c) the specific error message you're receiving

In addition to the first post above, please note that the Charles Schwab Invest First Visa Signature Card is not available on Mint by adding an account and searching for Schwab. It must be done by adding a credit card issued by FIA Card Services.

When I called Schwab they told me I can see the details of the account through Schwab.com which links to the real website for the credit card, www.schwabbankcreditcard.com.

Schwabbankcreditcard.com is not available on Mint, but I found that since FIA card services is the provider of the card, they have a website that allows you to view your credit card. You have to register at www.fiacardservices.com. Once you do that, you can add your credit card by searching for the name FIA in the accounts section.

The Schwab Invest First Credit card should really be added as a new account option rather than using the workaround with FIA card services.

This card is always suggested as one of my "Ways to Save" although I already have it. I don't think advertisers/associated companies would be happy to see that current customers are being targeted for something they already have.

It would also be a lot cleaner and professional, especially considering this card is a highly recommended option in "Ways to Save"!

I'm with all of you on the frustration of mint pointing to schwabbank.com for the Invest First card. Mine stopped updating over a week ago. I found a solution tonight that doesn't involve the FIA workaround.

1. Go to https://www.schwabbankcreditcard.com...s/LoginDisplay

2. Click "Forget Your Login Name or Password?" below the login

3. Enter your CC# and click "CONTINUE"

4. Answer all security verification questions, click "CONTINUE"

5. Select your name (not sure if this comes up if you don't have multiple card holders)

6. Update your login name & password to desired

7. Go back to mint.com and edit your Schwab Bank Credit Card profile to match the username and login you just updated.

8. Let mint update while you go make a cup of tea to relax.

9. Come back to find your account synced once again.

10. Do a happy dance.

Hope this helps!
