As a metro rider in DC, I spend about $45/month on public transportation. It would be nice to have that as a category. Right now I just put it under generic "Travel."

Agreed, a generic "Public Transportation" column for Bart, MUNI, CalTrain, etc would be smart.

Just came into the forum to suggest the same thing. Definitely need a public transportation category.

Note: I don't think it would get that granular. But I can see probably adding a category for this (reporting the category requests today).

+1 for Public Transit

There's a lot of stuff under auto, but a more general transportation category could be useful.

I also bike, which is kind of a niche, but it is my form of transportation... some flexibility in categories I guess might address niche spending habits
