Can you mark transactions as read/reviewed?

I'm new to mint. Liking what I see so far (Quicken has gotten soooo bloated over time and the Mac version is awful....).

Is there a way to mark transactions as having been read (reviewed)?

For instance, when I download new credit card (or bank) transactions, I'd like to be able to distinguish those that are new from those I've already reviewed.

I just realized that I can create a label called "read" which I guess solves my problem. Is this the best/only way to distinguish new from old transactions?
