Keep Category level at same place when changing timeline

Every time I change the time period, the pie chart categories default to the top of the category hierarchy. Is there any way to keep the categories at the same level and just change the time period so as to see comparisons between time periods easier?

I agree with this little update. It makes no sense to reset the pie chart each time you change the time range or length. In my case, I wanted to get a quick glimpse of my food cost breakdown month by month for the past 3. I had to reset the pie chart each time I moved the slider a month.
