How do I add a credit card or bank account?
1. Login to your Mint account.
2. Click on the “Accounts” tab.
3. Click on the type of account you would like to add (bank, credit card).
4. If you see your financial institution in the list of our most frequently added ones, simply click on the “add” button.
5. If you don’t see your financial institution, do a search for the institution in the search box. The search box will return results & you would simply click on the add for the one you use.
6. Enter in the username and password you use to access the institution online.
Voila! You’ve now added your account to your Mint account. If you have more than one account you would like to add, simply follow the steps above.

I can add my checking and savings accounts, but my credit card does not show up (it is from the same account). Any suggestions?
Hi, I know my bank and credit union are small town but I can't get ingdirect and chase to connect. If I go to their sites directly from the mint site, the account sign in and passwords are correct. But they won't work from within the mint site. Has anyone else had this problem?

I'm having the same issue. Mint can get basic account info from my bank but it does not include my CC. Without that info Mint is not very useful.

I have Bank of America - i login once to their site and get access to checking as well as 2 CC's. As a result, I can't get my CC accounts added. For that matter - why can't this site look at my checking account, determine what accounts I pay regularly, and guide me through a wizard to add those accounts automatically? I really don't see what's so great about this site. Apparently, it's gonna be pulling teeth to get all signed up for this - poor design folks. I'll stick to my homemade spreadsheet and pivot tables. Shame really. I was excited for a minute. Better luck next time Mint

I too cannot see all my accounts at US Bank. I cannot see any accounts other than checking when I login.
Will a feature be added to enable the display of all accounts when I login to my bank? Without this feature, Mint is too crippled to be of much use.

You can add Credit Cards for US Bank as well (you need to add account types separately). We will be supporting other account types down the road (loans, mortgage,etc.).

Several time I tried to add my TSP account and it won't add. Any member have same problem? I think on log-in page something not right data asking or Mint authority have to check and also, do some testing for this matter.
Also, other adding account who has a log-in ID, password and verify your personal security phrase and image for a extra safety won't add either.
Thank you in advance.

Can someone delete this transaction and close the account!
Clearly i am blind as a bat, because I seem to be unable to figure out how to add a second credit card to my account. Assistance would be very much appreciated.

Hey I'm having a tough time adding my auto loan from Sovereign bank. I've tried all 11 of the Sovereign options but most say 'user not found' and 2 say I entered the wrong password even though I'm sure I didn't.
Any advice?

My TSP shows up fine.
Sorry.
Just wanted you to know it might still be workable.

I've got every single account, TSP, CC's, savings, loans, banks, credit unions, mortgage, etc, etc on the site, but there's one damn credit card I can't list and it's the one from my primary institution.
Nothing I do seems to fix the discrepancy, I've even deleted the other accounts and re-listed the CC.
No joy.

I read somewhere that you can boost your credit score by adding aged credit accounts(becoming an authorized user or joint account holder on someone else's account) with a positive payment history to your credit file.My credit used to be pretty good, but is now suffering severely and my parents are trying to help any way they can and are willing to add me as an authorized user on two of their 10 year old credit card accounts with high limits and perfect payment history.I want to know if anyone out there reading this has ever done this and the results/experiences they had and if it actually raised their credit score.

I also have Bank of America; the problem it is a different website when you are talking about the CREDIT CARDS. When you add the account be sure you are adding uder CREDIT CARD not bank account. They have several "divisions" be sure you choose the correct one. Also you can try adding it under "loan" instead of credit card.

:mad:I can't either except for my Discover credit card. When I ask for help, Mint tries to add credit cards and fails. It gets a message such as "too many connections." I'm giving up on Mint.

My Credit Union asks you to type the scrambled word in the box before granting access to the site. Any suggestions, or thoughts on how I can get past this, so i can have bank info linked?
