View Full Version : Faulty auto-categorizing: fails to "stick"

I've been vexed trying to create a rule for changing the category for a merchant I frequent. I pull up all transactions for the parking garage merchant, hit "Create Rule to auto-categorize as Parking" and hit save. As expected, all transactions are then changed to "Parking." However, as soon as I leave that page, the transactions all go back to former category. This has been happening for weeks.

I noticed that the screen area where I pick Parking flickers up and down, making the category a bit hard to actually pinpoint. But, I eventually hit it and save but, as mentioned above, fails to stick.

Using IE6 under windows XP. Please help.

I've had a few reports of this that I haven't been able to re-produce on my account. Is this happening for single transactions that you attempt to categorize, or is it happening when you try to do a batch change?

I experience this issue very often. I double click on the category the select the box to apply to all and then click on the new category. Everything on the page that I was on changes but if I leave the page and go back, only the specific item that I double clicked on is correctly categorized.

Same here. Categorization is hit or miss for "stickiness"

I use:
Firefox/2.0.0.14 on XP
