I see others have been having trouble getting Citizens Bank (www.citizensbank.com) to work on here. I also see the issue hasn't been corrected in several months. I added my etrade savings account but it rarely has any activity. I love Mint and unfortunately I and several others can't even use it because Citizens Bank is not supported. I also use quicken online and that works with no problem at all.

If I may offer a few tips:

1. You have the bank name listed as "Citizens Bank - Retirement Web Site". Its not a retirement website.

2. When I try to get mint to connect to the account it asks for the first 3 numbers of my SSN, my date of birth, and the last 4 numbers of my SSN. I find this kind of odd because when I log in on the Citizens website it always asks me stuff like "What is my paternal grandfathers name?" or "What city was your father born in?" It NEVER asks me for my date of birth or social security number. Could mint just be asking the wrong questions????

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE try to get this issue corrected ASAP!!!

I just signed up and I am also dismayed that I cannot add my Citizens Bank accounts.

When will this be resolved?

I'm fixing my problem. Going to buy Quicken Deluxe tonight.

My understanding is that Citizens is an issue because of the login security requirements by the bank (creates issues for our provider). I can't promise an eta for a fix and/or if it will be supported. If we hear of any change, we will post out here & attempt to contact customers that have requested the bank in the past.

Any movement on this issue?

Not in our ballcourt at this time, unfortunately. This would be something our provider would have to work out & I haven't heard of any status changes on this issue right now.

Yodlee has now updated their system so they can retrieve info from Citizens Bank. Since Yodlee can now update this account info shouldn't Mint be able to?

Thanks.

I can actually connect to Citizens Bank via Mint now.

I added it long ago. And never removed it from the accounts page. About a month ago, I tried again because I was bored and who knows. Low and behold it worked. It has been working pretty consistently for around 1 month now.

I am not sure what happened. But it works for me.

Anyone else have luck? I have an auto loan through Citizens Bank and was hoping to have that included in Mint - I have double checked the user, pass, and security questions and still no luck. :(

I had problems adding Citizens Loans as well, and because I also have a Yodlee account, and Yodlee is Mints provider for aggregation, I submitted a service request at Yodlee. Unfortunately the response I got was "We regret to inform you that the Citizens Bank (MA, NH, CT, PA, DE & RI) – Loan site is no longer supported as the site has implemented complex login procedures preventing users from accessing the site through Yodlee MoneyCenter."
Bummer.

Hello patient Citizens Bank users,

We have some good news. Citizens Bank (account type=bank) is now supported on Mint.com !!!!! In the add account process, search Citizensbank (no spaces) and enter your credentials. Let us know in a reply post if you have any problems. Again, thanks for being patient.

With regards to access via Charter One, Citizens acquired Charter One in 2004 and some Citizens users were able to access via the Charter One log-in authentication. Since this workaround does not work for all Citizens Bank users we could not, in good faith, promote it.

Happy Minting!

Hello. I am also having issues during the authentication process. I verified the security questions with those in my profile at www.citizensbank.com

I see that the site is supposed to be supported, but it's not working. Willing to try anything new/suggestions. Mint overall is great, it has taken all of my other accounts with ease.

Thanks!

I've been trying to log in to both Citizens Bank AND Charter One Bank, and I'm not having any success at this point.

I was able to log in to Citizens Bank one time, and it hasn't succeeded since.

I am able to log in to my account from either bank's home page, just not from mint. :(

Ideas? This is really frustrating... So close, yet...

Your post gave me hope. I tried again and no dice. Still failing to log into Citizens' website through Mint. Authentication process is failing. The bright side to things is that I got a Matt Forte 100% AUTHENTIC jersey for Christmas. NICE!!!! Even though my Bears are out of the running for this year. :)

I have an auto loan through Citizens Bank. I login via the web interface the same way the personal bank accounts do. I do not have a checking or savings account with Citizens. I have tried everything I have found on these boards since signing up last month and have yet to have it sync once.

It adds just fine via Quicken Online. In fact I have everything working in Quicken Online. I am hoping I can use mint.com instead primarily because I like the graphs and "sub" budget categories better and the availability of the iPhone app.

But if I have to choose between having all of my accounts or having the fancier graphs and budgeting, I'll have to go with having all of my accounts.

--Edit--
The error message I get when adding the account (named Citizens Bank w/ the money bag) is "We could not find your account". It hangs on "Authenticating" for a minute or so after "Establishing Secure Connection".

Has anyone successfully received help via the help request form? I still haven't been able to load my Citizens Bank checking account (as well as ING and a Sallie Mae loan) and have made several attempts to get help but only have received automated responses. Any suggestions?

Hi gkbruins,

We are a few days behind in our response times. When did you submit your request? Also, for ING, make sure your challenge questions are answered in the exact order as they appear on ING. You may need to contact ING customer service to get these exact details of order.

Hi jzimm,

We currently do not support Citizens Bank Loans. We're working to get this supported. The "money bag" image indicates checking/savings account.

I just tried adding my Citizens checking account to no avail... I called their customer service and they do not have anyone to assist or answer questions as to what the issue may be. And the woman I spoke with added that it was a really questionable idea to put your banking info. on any other website. Gee, THANKS.

Anyone have any ideas as to what to do?

Thank you,
