I would find the budget tool much more useful if:

1) The default budgets are able to be deleted (I don't have a car, etc)

2) The "Everything Else" category would covered anything NOT already budgeted. That way I could have my monthly total and actually keep track of it. Things like car rentals and extra shopping can't really be budgeted (in my life), but I would love to see how close I am to going over my income every month by setting the Everything Else category to the difference between my income and the total budget. Maybe mint could even set this up by default to figure out my monthly avg income and then use that as the total, with everything else being budgeted like I said above.

3) A transfer budget. I want to say each month I want to put 1000 on the credit card, or each month I want to put 500 in savings.

Anyway, just my two cents after about an hour of usage.

I completely agree. I just started using mint.com about a month ago, and I'm just now discovering there's no easy way to have my credit card payments in my budget. How ridiculous is that? As much as I wish I didn't have credit card payments, they're the whole reason I've resorted to using a service like this. Please fix this.
