Spliting Transactions

When you split transaction there is no ability to assign a date to the split off item.

Since I don't have the ability to enter transaction manually I like to split my ATM withdrawals. Every time I spend the cash I go back and split the withdrawals transaction. However, every split takes on the date of the original transaction with really messes up my budgeting.

I would be nice to be able to assign a date to the split item.

BUG: After the initial split the automatic math no longer works. The first time you split a transaction the original amount it automatically lowered by the amount you enter for your split item. Not so if you do any subsequent splits.

Do you have a screen shot of the bug issue? Would be good to see the screens for each step along the split.

Date: Not sure if there is an easy fix for this.

next to the amount of the split you should be able to add a date.

Using Ubuntu with firefox 3, it looks like the math error was fixed?

When I split a transaction more than once new amount of the new transaction is now automatically deducted from the original.
