View Full Version : Adding AmEx, WellsFargo and ING Direct

I get the same errors with all three of my accounts:

"Trying to Establish Secure Connection"

Then eventually...

"This seems to be taking too long"

"Trying again should do the trick"

I can see how ING might have issues because their login procedure is over the top. However, AmEx and WellsFargo are huge institutions with simple login procedures.

I'd just like to get a taste of Mint and at this point, I can't get anything to work.

Any thoughts here?

Wells Fargo and Amex accounts generally don't have issues. Have you tried again?

There are tips for adding ING...

To get ING to possibly work:

Go to www.ingdirect.com (http://www.ingdirect.com/) <http://www.ingdirect.com (http://www.ingdirect.com/)/> and login

Go to the "My Info" tab

Under "Login Options" at the bottom, click "Change"

Look at the answers to your security questions. You need to answer
those questions identically on Mint.

Notes:
Answers may be case sensitive
You should leave the answer to all other security questions blank. Only answer the ones listed at ING | My Info | Login Options
