I've encountered something and I need some assistance in figuring out how to deal with it.

Imagine that you buy an airline ticket for $239.00. However, you don't use it, and it's fully refundable. (Thank you, Southwest.) Both transactions get posted to your credit card. However, my Travel category analysis shows that my transaction totals are $578.00. When, in actuality, it's zero!

Am I misunderstanding the meaning of the Transaction Total? Is there something else I need to do to reconcile transactions like this?

Thanks in advance - an admitted newbie! But very intrigued!

I have had the same problem in the grocery category. I deposited some rebates, categorized them as grocery, and the were added to my total grocey spending in spending trends instead of being subtracted.

On the overview page the total was figured correctly, so my grocery spending on the two pages does not match.

I really wish this could be fixed!
