Outside of category customization, the other feature I would like to see most is keyboard shortcuts.
I type pretty quickly, and taking my hands off of the keyboard to click the mouse really slows things down.
Gmail has a number of ajaxy keyboard shorcuts that are really nice. The benefit here would be even greater, as the majority of us are spending a good deal of time renaming transactions, and categorizing them.
Right now, to rename a transaction, I have to double click on the existing transaction name, type in the new name, and click the save button. It would be so much faster if I just had to press return to save the change.
And it would be even better if I could then tab to the category field and hit return to bring up the category selection dialog.
