Hi Folks,
The current "spending trends" page has a problem with flash. The good news, however, is that the old spending trends is going to be retired. The new version can be accessed via this link: https://wwws.mint.com/trend2.event
(Flash problems don't exist with the new version).

Now, THAT'S amazing!!! I love making the wheel revolve by going from month to three months to all time. Fun and Very cool. Thanks!!

I have carefully determined, using the standard methodology of statistics generation, that the new spending trends page is 617.3% better than the old one. :-D

Agreed, it's beautiful and much easier to use.
One thing though, apparently the system logged me out, but the page didn't redirect me. The graph and table on the right just disappeared. I refreshed the page and got the "You've been logged out after 10 mins of inactivity" (although I never left the site...)
I understand that that's why it's not live yet, but perhaps something to look at.

I echo the statements on this post - the new spending trends page is fantastic! I'm glad it's gone live. It looks like it calculates things a bit differently than the old page, though. It does not appear to take into account income in each category. For instance, I write the rent check for my apartment and am reimbursed by my roommates (usually :)). In the rent category I see the total amount of the check I write, not just my share. Because of this, the new spending trends isn't very useful to me. Any plans to change this?
Thanks in advance.
I'm having difficulties with this new trend page as well. For my expenditures in the "Investment" category, it only shows the trend of Dec '07. However when I did a search on investments in the the transactions, I can see my transactions from August. Also, now I don't even see the "Income" category in the trends section.

I'm having issues with the vendor list that repopulates. I switch the view from "all time" to "current month". I then try to resort the account list on the right to show my biggest spenders first, and my #1 expenditure (mortgage) is not on the list at all
