Every 3 months or so, my bank forces a password change for online account access. Today was one of those days. I noticed Mint had trouble accessing the account and tried to find a way to give Mint the new password for this account. Since I could not find one, I opted to delete the original account and add it as a new account which worked except I lost all categories & labels. It also appears that I lost a months worth of data as well which is also a big bummer.
Did I do something wrong or am I going to have to reassign categories & labels every few months and only ever have 3 months worth of data for this account?

A warning screen appears when you delete an account that all the transactions would be lost:(
Changing the password: you should see an option to update when you receive a failed username/password message (the UI isn't great on this just yet).
"Update" option does not work when I try to change username & password.
How does one do this? (change)

I just ran into this problem today, and see no "update" link on the Mint side. My bank website does not let me repeat passwords, so this is a serious dilemma to me.

Did you see an edit button or something other than delete? Delete is bad.

okay, here is the solution:
when account can't logon, choice is between cancel and okay, choose okay.
next dialog box gives choice between cancel and try again, choose try again.
at this point you can reenter a different/correct username and password for the mint to use for that account
