I have used mint for a couple of months now but in the past two weeks, my PNC accounts are not showing up. It is very frustrating, almost to the point that I am going to stop coming back to check. I have verified my username/password and my security questions and I can login into the PNC website without problem.

Is this a known problem? Why did it just stop working?

Generally speaking...

1. The site could have a change recently & our provider hasn't caught up to it yet.
2. Our provider might have a connectivity issue with the provider.
3. The user has changed their password (not as common issue).

These problems generally last for a few days & then correct.

I am having the same problem with PNC bank; often over the last month, it's failed. Other times, it works. But mostly, it fails.

The error message suggests it's my fault, and that the password is wrong. But it's not, and it isn't. That error message can/should be fixed.

It's been on-again, off-again for the last month, at least.

So... how often should I check back to see if it worked?

And when it fails, how do I get it to stop asking me to re-enter all my information, and just try to connect again?

I am also having a problem connecting to PNC. Has there been a solution to this problem yet?

99.9% of the time the connectivity issue you're experiencing is temporary. How long has it been going on?

This issue has been occurring for me as well, for about as long as I have been using Mint. I just assumed it was some bug that would get fixed and/or fudged... but apparently it isn't. (Referring to PNC)

New to the site, tried to setup my PNC account. After verifying my password and security questions I'm being told that my login is incorrect. Very frustrating, because I really love the idea of this site.

I never had good relations with PNC...I stay away from them

Few weeks later and I still can't add a PNC account. After filling out a problem form Damon has said that he submitted a bug report. This has got to be something on Mint's end, as I am 100% sure that I am entering in all the correct information. I really want this to work, are there any PNC users that have their checking account syncing with Mint successfully? If so could you tell me exactlly what you did? I feel like I'm doing all the right things but it's just not working.

PNC isn't working for me either. This is quite unfortunate since they are my main bank and I really have no plan to switch away from them (great customer service thus far).

Any update on this? I signed up for Mint several days ago and the PNC access has not worked for the entire time.

Has anyone been able to log in with there PNC account on mint?

You would think that this would be easier but no matter how I try to sign in, I can't get past authentication.

I am having trouble. There is a dual thread regarding PNC Virtual Wallet where I have been posting. The latest error from Mint says that they do not support my bank. Damn.

For the last three days I have been getting "We're having issues" notice. Why now I have been using mint since May and now I can't get it to work. Very Frustrating. I know that PNC has not changed anything with their login process. My Wamu card is also not working, same message

I've had trouble with my PNC bank account updating as well... it's only been going on for about 3 days, so hopefully it'll be fixed sooner rather than later.

I've had my PNCaccounts in mint for several months and I've not had any problems with them showing up or being updated properly. Is this something that has occurred suddenly?

For me it is. My accounts have been updating fine up until a few days ago. Every other account is updating fine, it's just my PNC bank account and loan account. I have updated all of my PNC information and checked all of the passwords and everything is showing up fine. I am still able to log into my account thru PNC.com, so I am not really sure what the issue is.

I tried to log in to my PNC account again, hoping that Mint and PNC would have fixed what ever was going on. Unfortunately, I received two different messages, first I didn't have my username and password correct. The second message was "Mint does not support your bank, click okay to remove"

This sucks, I changed banks after moving to an area that wasn't covered by Chase and now that Mint doesn't get my checking accounts and primary savings accounts how is it useful?

I've been using mint for over a year and found it to be an excellent way to manage my money but if they don't support the bank that I'm using, I can't figure out how to continue with Mint.

Since everyone on this thread has been unsuccessful with PNC and Mint, has anyone found any thing similar to Mint? I'm really not interested in changing banks again since I just changed and other banks in the area don't really meet my needs.

Thanks,
Don

I successfully added my PNC account back in october, but every few days it errors and stops updating. To fix it, I have to go edit the account and retype my info and answers to the security questions.

It's very frustrating to have to do this every few days.

Are you using the PNC Virtual Wallet?

Just attempted it again with my Virtual Wallet account and still no go. This is really irritating, I just got an iPod Touch too and would love to use the Mint app.

I signed up for PNC for the Virtual Wallet feature, but was dismayed that it did now work with Mint. I just called them and had them convert the account back to normal online banking / Free Checking (and cancel the Reserve and Growth accounts) and Mint was able to login just perfectly fine, with no hitches. So, this will work for me for now. I'll just use another online savings account somewhere until the Virtual Wallet kinks are worked out.

I think the problem I face though is that I've never used mint before. I have no idea if I will like it more or less than the virtual wallet. I don't want to go through the trouble of converting my account back to a normal savings account only to switch it back a few days later.

I think this is a PNC issue more than mint issue (just my 2 cents). I have been using yodlee for over 4 years and since I got an account with PNC, I am not able to connect from there either. Heard of mint and it sure has more features than yodlee but am facing the same problem here as well. Wish there was a fix to this as I would really like to use mint.

The only way I was able to get it working was downgrading from Virtual Wallet.

I just opened a PNC virtual wallet account and it does not work on Mint. I believe it is because they have added a security image and mint does not yet support that for PNC accounts.

Is everyone able to use "normal" PNC accounts with Mint? I may end up converting my Virtual Wallet accounts if so.

About to change from my local credit union to PNC - Stephen, do you mean to say you have full integration with PNC Bank's features? That would be great!
