Hi Folks,
I just wanted to remind some people that Mint currently only supports bank and credit card accounts. If you are trying to add any of the following account types below, I did want to advise that you will get an error message.
Loan Accounts
Brokerage/Investment Accounts
Retirement/401k accounts
Mortgage Accounts
Additional Note: If you do a search for your bank, one that only pulls one option, you will also get this error message if the account type isn't supported. An example would be a search shows the credit card option on our site & not the bank account.
Note: I do realize this is happening with some bank and credit card accounts as well & we're working on it. I just wanted to reduce some confusion & frustration by pointing the above out.

This seems to be getting worse recently. I have one bank I've finally gotten working when I login directly via Yodlee Moneycenter, but it won't work here. It instantly "bombs" out saying there is a password error, but so quickly it's like it never even tried. I know there is no password error because I'm using the same username and password and 4 security questions and answers that work on Yodlee, as well as logging in directly via the bank's website (Salem Five Cents Bank, www.salemfive.com).
Today, the same thing started happening with another bank I'd never had trouble with, Fifth Third Bank. Again, it tells me password error, and when I try and re-login, it bombs out so quickly, it's as if it never even tried.
I agree. This is getting very frustrating.

The log on issues seem to be worsening- when i started about 4 weeks ago, I had no problems. last week one of my bank accounts started saying "incorrect password or ID"-, I haven't been able to log on since. Now today, my other bank account has the same error message. i suspect it has something to do with added security questions and picture id's being needed- Does anyone know if mint supports this?

Note: I am going to change your login id to greggwolff (the full email address makes you a target for spam).
These issues can occur if:
a) Your bank recently made changes to their site
b) You changed the password for your account for your bank
If your bank made a recent security change, please use the contact form to advise us of:
1. The bank name.
2. The login url for the bank.
3. What changed (security requirements).
We will work these issues with our provider and engineering.

OK, but what about (b)? How do I update the password on one of my accounts? "Edit" just lets me hide/remove/rename all my accounts. How do I edit the password for one account?

Now my American Express log-in isn't working either.
Mint is a great idea, but the bugs make it worthless.

HOW LONG IS THIS GOING TO GO ON FOR!?
Again last week the system download all of my transactions and I was able to use this service. I love it! But what happens the next day when I update my transactions? Same crap! It gets all the way to Downloading Transactions and pops up with Wrong Username and/or Password. On top of that, all my old transactions are deleted! Where'd they go? Why can't they stay and only fail on bringing in the new transactions? Get this fixed please! I'm tired of coming here day in and day out in hopes of it actually working correctly.

It would seem that a year later things still are not right. I am getting the same BS login pw incorrect junk. I know my login and pw are correct and still mint says otherwise. Screw this.....Great idea but cannot deliver the goods. My problem started when I signed up and actually was able to access my bank. However, when I clicked on the trends tab, mint told me that I had not added any accounts. Funny, I could go to the home tab and see that I had three accounts listed. After trying everything but throwing my laptop against the wall, I deleted my accounts and tried to start over. Now, I can't get into any of the same three accounts that at least sort of worked before. WTF is up with this site????
