Hi Folks,

Mint will have a release on the 22nd/23rd that will add some new features (more on this later) & fix some bugs. Here are the major bugs that should be resolved late next Monday/early Tuesday:
Text boxes not appearing for answers to security questions
Security Fields getting truncated in Internet Explorer
Duplicate transactions should get a lot better

The go live date for this is now on the 24th of this month. I will also make it a point to have an updated feature list release when I confirm it goes live.

It's the 24th and I'm anxious! Any word on these updates or a list of those that will be included?

I'm really looking forward to an update on these fixes as well. Any chance that Citizens Bank and 1st Financial Bank USA will be working after this fix?
David.

I'm so excited, but it's starting to look like it won't be today .. huh?

Our pushes always go out late at night - so I think everything will probably be ok by tomorrow (no notification that it wasn't happening).

What happened to the tabs? They're all funky now. Everything is dark and hard to read. The whole interface is starting to look jumbled. My guess, having worked at a startup, is that everyone is all high on the press buzz and there are all these new cooks in the kitchen and everything is building to an aquisition crescendo. Abandon ship!

when will people learn you don't complain about a free product???

Anyway, noticed some changes to the site myself, still can't put my security questions in though .. any new news?

If this was free chat, or free dating, or free invoicing I may be a bit less picky but I gave Mint my banking login credentials and so I expect more. And it's not really "free" because there is an inherent compact between Mint and it's community that a certain number of us will take advantage of their offers and thus they can pay their bills. If this system were truly "free" we would be "free" of their suggestions.

We DO have to expect more from a company that is a proxy to our critical financial data that flat out says we can TRUST them. If we let them slide when they screw up their own interface by a lack of testing we can't really cry when they screw up some security and there is a major breach....

they did nothing to you .. they switched the look of the site around (still tweaking it) .. and you are freaking out.

I have (and still am) working at a startup company. Not everyone just sells out immeadiately ..

Give some time, and quit assuming stuff

We need to give Mint time, but that also doesn't mean we can't hold the company up to high standards. Just because a company gives something away for free doesn't make them exempt. Mints not a non-profit, which I give a bit of extra slack. This could turn into a very profitable business for them if they handle it right.
David.

Thank you thank you thank you. This new bug fix release has enabled me to try Mint. It works wonderfully. I work for a credit counseling agency and I can wait to show this to my co-workers and superiors. It's a great tool for people to have the "big scope" of where everything is going. Again thank you for getting this to work.
