Hello,
I have a checking account and several other accounts added to Mint. In my checking account I have a transaction that appears in Mint that does not appear in my regular online banking application. I've searched for the amount that Mint reports for the transaction and Bank of America shows nothing for this.
Can Mint give me any more information on the transaction besides what it shows in the UI?
Thanks,
Aaron

Hmmm...the amount doesn't correspond to your bank/credit card account at all? We do have an issue with pending transaction/pre-auth transactions getting registered, which then causes a little confusion because the final charge may be slightly different.

Maybe it's a pending transaction from a restaurant? With the pending transaction bug it would stay in Mint, and possibly register as an amount that isn't familiar.
Shot in the dark... cause sometimes the pending amount will be your bill, but if you add tip it doesn't show up until the final charge. It's thrown me off a couple times when the amount suddenly jumps and I later realize it was the tip

I am having the same problem and with Bank of America Credit card too! There is a transaction that says late fee. I called the bank and they said there is no such transaction of a late fee, or any other transaction with the amt it was.
Why is mint.com doing this? I hope it gets fixed too. It is a little worrysome when you see a late fee on your acct and its "not really there." Plus it messes up the budget sections.
Thanks

Something we would most certainly need to file a bug with our provider for (need to use the contact form for this).
Here's basically what we need...
1. Email address of your account
2. The date and amount of the transaction.
3. The category/name that Mint assigned to the transaction.
4. The name of the bank/url of bank for the transaction in question (if available).
Hi, I've been having mystery transactions pop up in my checking account for the past couple months too. Do you have a fix for this yet? Otherwise, I adore your site. But this is completely unnerving. Thanks, Carey
